Augustus Clarke (born 1989; Buffalo, NY), known as DJ Gus, is a disc jockey & music video director raised in Buffalo, NY.   To this day he has worked with numerous Indie artists from his hometown, Cleveland, Ohio & Washington D.C.  He has also done video work for Memphis Bleek, Ace Hood, 8Ball, MJG, Zaytoven, French Montana, Chinx Drugz, Bloody Jay, Rich Rocka.   DJ Gus’s interest in becoming a disc jockey was sparked when his Mentor DJ Damar took him under his wing and taught him the essentials of the craft. After hard work and tutelage under the guidance of DJ Damar, DJ Gus branched out on his own to build up a name for himself and his brand booking various events ranging from private parties to spinning at some of Buffalo’s hottest nightclubs.

In his junior year at Hilbert College, he met up with steadicam operator Tom Wills from Philadelphia, PA, whom sparked his interest in shooting and editing videos. Realizing an opportunity to add to his skill-set and hone a new craft, Gus began to learn the basics of video production and editing under the guidance of Tom. This drive to strive to be the best that he can and dedication to constant improvement has led to DJ GUS becoming one of the most well respected up and coming DJ/Videographer’s in the WNY area. If you haven’t heard or seen any of his work to date, you will as he continues to branch out and provide top notch video production coupled with hot mixes and spins.
